Andrew May has been missing since Sunday April 13, 2025.

Concerns are mounting for 39-year-old Andrew May, a resident of Burke Road, who has been missing since Sunday evening.

According to his brother, Dwight May, Andrew was last seen around 6:30 p.m. after hanging up freshly washed clothes. Described as a quiet man who rarely left home, his prolonged absence is unusual, as he typically returned by midnight whenever he went out, the elder sibling informed Old Harbour News.

Andrew, who was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans at the time of his disappearance, has been struggling with what the family suspects is depression. Though he maintained a clean appearance and daily routines -  cooking, cleaning, and getting regular haircuts - his brother noted that prolonged conversation revealed signs of mental distress.

The family traces his struggles to job loss during the COVID-19 pandemic. A certified chef, Andrew became increasingly withdrawn and distrustful, refusing opportunities to seek work elsewhere amid pleas from his siblings.

A missing person report has been filed with the Old Harbour Police as relatives, including Andrew’s distraught mother — who is traveling from St. Ann to aid in the search — plead for his safe return.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the family at 876-368-9902 or the Old Harbour Police at 876-203-3659.
