Traffic had to be diverted Wednesday morning from this section of the Spring Village road in the vicinity of Gutters.

This, after the structural integrity of a light pole was compromise. Persons in the area informed Old Harbour News that since last Saturday the pole started falling, causing the attached wires become a hazard to the public.

The wires eventually fell down yesterday after becoming entangled with a truck.

By mid morning, however, a JPS crew was on site remedying the problem.
