Police probing Bartons murder

Investigators from the Old Harbour CIB are probing the murder of a man whose body was found in the Six Miles area of Bartons, 13km north of Old Harbour.
He has been identified as Gregory Copeland, 42, from the neighbouring community of Red Ground.
At about 3:00 am Sunday, citizens heard loud explosions and summoned the police.
A search of the area resulted in the discovery of Copeland’s body which had gunshot wounds to the head and chest, the police informed Old Harbour News.
A motive is yet to be established for the killing.
Investigation continues.
