Another man who was seated beside Fogah during the gun attack miraculously escaped uninjured.

The police are reporting that two gunmen entered Fogah’s premises and shot at both men as they attempted to escape. Fogah, it is reported, fell and was shot in the head and upper torso.

Scene of crime detectives subsequently retrieved two spent casings and a live round among other standard evidentiary material found.

More than 12 hours later after the frightening ordeal which left thousands of Niah Gang’s TikTok followers in disbelief, the police informed Old Harbour News that a true motive behind the murder is yet to be established.

Police investigators will however be examining in minute detail the conversation Fogah was having with a follower during the gun attack.

During a live with his more than 248,000 subscribers, Fogah was engaged by a follower who appeared to be using artificial intelligence software that distorts their voice and facial features.

About a minute before Fogah and his friend were attacked, the follower could be heard threatening the now deceased, who had also issued a threat of his own.

Among the many theories making the rounds is that the fatal shooting was possibly driven by egotistical young men promoting a culture of badness online and in this particular case manifested into real life.

Another view is that Fogah has repeatedly been making remarks on his TikTok live broadcasts allegedly referencing individuals associated with the criminal underworld.

But the chilling reality now is that his murder could spark an online trend or feud if it is to be known where the hit came from.

Investigation continues.
